An enrollment verification certificate is an official document which provides proof of your enrollment status for the purpose of loan deferments, scholarship applications, medical or car insurance and more.
An enrollment verification certificate may be obtained through goPFW, online, or in person. To access goPFW you must be a current, registered student. Former students can access their enrollment verification certificate through the Myhub portal.
Please note the following:
- Enrollment verification certificates for future enrollment are not available. For current students, enrollments certifications will be available 10 business days after the official start date for the term.
- Enrollment verification certificates requests received by email or telephone will not be processed.
- goPFW: FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
As a current student you can obtain an enrollment verification certificate, view enrollment history, check loan deferments, and link to real-time information about your student loans using goPFW. To check your status, log in to goPFW and click the National Student Clearinghouse link on the Enrollment tab. From there you will be redirected to the National Student Clearinghouse Myhub portal. You can print your enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse Myhub portal and mail it to an insurer or other company that requests proof of your enrollment.
If your request is for a term that has not yet started, your enrollment verification certificate will not be available through National Student Clearinghouse until 10 business days after the official start date of that term.
Special Note: Current students who require information not included in the National Student Clearinghouse enrollment verification certificate may email [emailprotected] from their Purdue Fort Wayne student email. Please provide a clear statement of the information needed on the enrollment certification request.

- IN-PERSON REQUESTS
You are encouraged to use the National Student Clearinghouse Myhub portal on goPFW to gain immediate access to your enrollment verification certificate. For instructions on how to use the Myhub portal, click here.
Enrollment verification certificate requests can be made in person at the Enrollment Services Desk located near the main entrance of Kettler Hall. Please ask for a Purdue UniversityRequest for Certification of Enrollmentform. Fill out the entire form completely. Provide all required signatures. Attach any third-party forms to the request form and place all in the black metal registrar’s drop box located at the Enrollment Services Desk. Your request will be manually processed. Please allow a minimum of 2 business days for processing. During peak times (for example, the beginning or end of a semester) please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing.
- In-person requests for enrollment certifications must include a signed and datedPurdue University Request for Certification of Enrollment.
- Third-party forms submitted without a signed and dated Purdue University Request for Certification of Enrollment form will not be processed.

Enrollment verification certificate requests may be completed online through the National Student Clearinghouse Myhub portal. Students are required to create an account. Former students (not currently registered) can sign up with their Google or Linkedin accounts. Enrollment Verification Certificates through Myhub are available immediately. If additional third-party forms are required, they may be uploaded following instructions on the Online Enrollment Certification Request Form. form. Please allow a minimum of 2 business days for processing. During peak times (for example, the beginning or end of a semester) please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing.

- THIRD-PARTY REQUESTORS
The National Student Clearinghouse is Purdue University Fort Wayne’s contracted agent for enrollment verification certificate requests. Third parties, such as employers and creditors, may obtain enrollment certifications directly from the National Student Clearinghouse at www.degreeverify.org.
- Enrollment certifications will be available for each term 10 business days after the official start date of that term.
- Costs for National Student Clearinghouse services to third parties vary and are set by the Clearinghouse.
- The National Student Clearinghouse abides by all provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
